WHO AM I?

Design is not just pixels on a screen. Design is what I do or create to achieve a particular outcome, whether that outcome is an action or a feeling. I have always been creative. I look at the world with a lens of creativity, always. From a young age I found pleasure in creating order and function. Cleaning my friends houses and/or bedrooms was internally rewarding. Why? When things are in order it can impact mood, it can change the atmosphere. Everything I do or think is fundamentally driven by how I can impact a human life, make people feel something, and enjoy an atmosphere.

It was inevitable that I would spend my life being creative. I studied a diploma in interior architectural design after high school. It was during my studies that ‘ergonomics’ had a profound impact of my everyday life and worldview. I has always lived it out, but now it had a name and as a result, I understood myself more.

Design has always been about putting a human at the forefront of what I do. Whether it’s drafting a floorplan, modelling a 3D render, building a physical chair (yes, I once won an award for furniture design) or simply crafting a digital product, it would be meaningless if not done for the purpose of a impacting a human life.

Being creative is not just what I do, it's who I am… Naturally, as a result, I provide guidance, expert advice, strategic mentoring and design leadership.
